Courtney Hensley

Courtney Lynn Hensley, daughter of John and Judy (Bernard) Bray, was born June 12, 1981, in Lebanon, Missouri. She unexpectedly passed away on February 23, 2025, at her home in Mountain Grove, Missouri, at the age of 43.

Courtney graduated from the Mountain Grove Christian Academy in 1999. She was united in marriage to Tyler Hensley on September 17, 2005, in Manes, Missouri. Courtney and Tyler enjoyed their time spent together. The simple life of just being together was all they needed.

Courtney was very crafty and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and many other crafts with her hands. She loved her flowers, all types of animals (feeding every stray that came along) as well as her birds. She shared recipes with others and was a very accomplished cook.

Courtney was saved and baptized and currently attending Embree Community Church. Her faith in Christ has sustained her through life and her faith in the Lord has taken her to her eternal home!

Courtney is survived by her husband, Tyler; her parents, John and Judy Bray; her mother-in-law, Sherry Hensley; and many other relatives, church family, and friends who will miss her dearly.

The family appreciates the care, love, and prayers you have given. They wish to inform you that there will not be a formal service due to immense sorrow that this sudden tragedy has brought them.
