Clifford Ronald 'Ron' Cypret

Clifford Ronald Ron Cypret, son of the late Clifford and Edith (Milan) Cypret, was born on October 8, 1937, in Couch, Missouri, and departed this life on January 18, 2016, at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri. He was 78 years, 3 months, and 10 days of age.

Ron was raised in Bilmore, Missouri. He attended and graduated from Beaumont High School in St. Louis, Missouri then served 6 years of service in the Army. He was united in marriage to Cona Reed on October 22, 1960, in Doniphan, Missouri. Two children were born to this union: Ronda and Scott. Ron retired from McDonnell Douglas/Boeing Aerospace in St. Louis Missouri.


Ron enjoyed playing the guitar, being outdoors, and gardening. He liked to paint, draw, and to do carpentry. Ron was a faithful Christian, and a very kind and generous man. He was devoted to his family.


Besides his parents, Ron was preceded in death by one brother: Duane Cypret.


He is survived by his loving wife: Cona Cypret of the home; one daughter: Ronda Kaye Cypret-Mahach and husband, Thomas, of OFallon, Missouri; one son: Scott Reed Cypret and Tammie Jones of OFallon, Missouri; one brother: Barry Cypret of St. Louis, Missouri; five grandchildren: Jessica and husband, Sgt. Jeffery Piant, Timothy Scott Mahach, Kendrik Ogren, Konnor Ogren, and Kyan Randall; three great-grandchildren: Rehanna, Alanna, and Gianna Piant; and a host of other relatives and friends.


Visitation: Thursday, January 21, 2016, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM in the Craig-Hurtt Chapel.

Funeral Service: Friday, January 22, 2016, at 2:00 PM in the Craig-Hurtt Chapel.

Burial: Saturday, January 23, 2016, at 1:00 PM in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in O'Fallon, Missouri.
