Clifford Graham Brock

Clifford Graham Brock, son of the late George Clark and Carol (Kinnick) Brock, was born on February 23, 1927 in Perry, Oklahoma and passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at his residence near Norwood, Missouri. He was 82 years, 2 months and 2 days of age.
Clifford grew up in Stillwater, Oklahoma and attended school in Perry. He served his country in the United States Army at the end of World War II and was honorably discharged on November 24, 1946 as a Private. He was united in marriage to Mary Stockwell on June 19, 1948 in Perry, Oklahoma. Four children were born to this union. They had made their home in the Norwood, Missouri area for many years.
Clifford enjoyed farming and being outdoors fishing and tending to his garden each year. He liked listening to bluegrass music and playing bridge.
He was a member of the Church of God in Mtn. Grove. He liked attending services and visiting with his many friends.
Clifford was a kind and caring husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, neighbor and friend. He will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son: George Brock; one sister: Carol Marie Moore; a brother: Gene Brock; and by an infant brother.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-one years: Mary Brock of their home; one son: Paul Brock of Springfield, Missouri; two daughters: Sherry Stidham and her husband, Bobby, and Sue Forrest and her husband, Lee, all of Norwood, Missouri; one brother: Keith Brock and his wife, Ann, of Jai, California; ten grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
