Claude Wesley Crisp, son of the late Andrew Jackson “Jack” and Blanche Gertrude (Adams) Crisp, was born on May 21, 1927 on the family farm near Manes, Missouri and passed away on June 16, 2009 at his residence north of Mtn. Grove, Missouri, following a long illness. He was 82 years and 25 days of age.

Claude worked on his farm most all his life. He also worked various jobs in the community. The latest was custodian for the Manes School for eighteen years before his retirement.
His passion in life was working on cars and in his younger years his neighbors would come to him when their vehicles had a problem and he would fix them and never charge for his work, because he enjoyed doing it.
Besides his parents and his wife he was preceded in death by three sisters: Daisy Delcour, Clara Fisher and Geneva Ward.
He is survived by his son: Donald Crisp of Mtn. Grove; nieces; nephews; his church family; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him very much.
