Clark Neal Dysart was born on June 30, 1935, in Dover, Missouri, to Kenneth and Mildred (Schowe) Dysart and passed away Monday, September 16, 2019, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. He was 84 years, 2 months, and 17 days of age.
Clark was baptized in the Christian Church at a young age. He graduated from Santa Fe High School in Waverly, Missouri, and was offered a college basketball scholarship but declined. He served in the Army in Korea from 1959 - 1961. On July 6, 1956, he married Bernice Marie Aversman at the Lutheran Church in Waverly. They have two children, Greg and Brenda.
Clark was a farmer most of his life. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, horseback riding, camping, and spending time with his family. He greatly enjoyed his trip to Alaska to fish for salmon and halibut. He also enjoyed watching the Chiefs and Royals. He loved spending time with his grandkids. Recently, he enjoyed drag racing and watching and riding with Greg and Jeremiah as they raced.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Wayne and Gene Dysart, his nephew Kenny and his niece Jackie.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Bernice, of their home in Norwood, Missouri, his daughter, Brenda and Craig Turnbull of Nixa, Missouri, his son, Greg and Rena Dysart of Mountain Grove, Missouri, his grandchildren, Derek Leighty of Mountain Grove, Missouri, Austin Dysart of Springfield, Missouri, Abby Turnbull and fiancé, Cody Sanders, of Kansas City, Missouri, and Tiffany and Jeremiah Stark of Rogersville, Missouri, great-grandsons, Derek Leighty, Tyler and Jordan Rensch, his brothers, Glenn Dysart of Kansas City, Missouri, and Charles Dysart and Barbara of Carrollton, Missouri, and several nieces, nephews and friends.
