Clarence Woodrow Ratterree, son of the late Joseph and Ella Mae (Coble) Ratterree, was born on August 12, 1915 in Graff, Missouri and passed away on September 17, 2009 at his home in Graff, Missouri. He was 94 years of age.
Clarence grew up in the Graff community and attended the Logan school. On October 13, 1956 he was united in marriage to Vineta Davis in Cabool, Missouri. Two daughters were born to this union. Clarence was a lifelong dairy and beef farmer. He also spent some time building fence and hauling milk in cans. Clarence enjoyed spending time on his farm especially when working in his garden. He was well known for growing potatoes. Clarence also enjoyed cutting wood and brush hogging on his farm.
Besides his parents, Clarence was preceded in death by two brothers: Clyde Ratterree and Roy Ratterree; a niece: Elsie Ratterree; and a nephew: Charlie Ratterree.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 53 years: Vineta Ratterree; two daughters: Violet Fry of Mtn. Grove, Missouri and Vicky Warthen and husband, Norman, of Licking, Missouri; a sister: Ruby Ratterree of Licking, Missouri; two grandchildren: Jeremiah Fry and wife, Keri, and Aaron Fry and wife, Jessica; six great-grandchildren: Jaimie, Alyssia, Skylar, James, Jade, and Christopher; a nephew: Leonard Lee Ratterree of Belton, Missouri; numerous other cousins and friends who will greatly miss him.
