Clara Frances Morgan

Clara Frances (Alflen) Morgan, daughter of the late Jacob and Philomena (Seitz) Alflen, was born on September 7, 1936 in Kansas City, Missouri and departed this life on March 16, 2012 in Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Missouri. She was 75 years, 6 months, and 9 days of age.
Clara grew up in Kansas City. She married James Morgan in 1952. One child, Chris, was born to this union. Mr. Morgan passed away in 1962. Clara had two more children: Kevin and Carla.
Clara enjoyed spending time with her family, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. They were the light of her life. She also enjoyed spending time with her partner of 40 years, Jim Finch. They enjoyed camping and fishing together. Clara never knew a stranger. She would talk to anyone who would listen.
Besides her parents and her husband, Clara was preceded in death by one sister: Mary Moore; one brother: Mike Alflen; and by Jim Finch.
Clara is survived by her three children: Chris Upshaw and her husband, Mark, of Norwood, Missouri; Kevin Morgan and his wife, Joyce, of Topeka, Kansas; and Carla Stoner and her husband, Randy, of Grandview, Missouri; nine grandchildren: Amy Kembel, Glenda Dawson, Marcie Upshaw, Jackie Morris, Jamie Upshaw, Nathan Shannon, Misty Martin, Natasha Chancelor, and Bryan Morgan; twenty-three great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters: Pat Pryor of Sweet Springs, Missouri and Vie Arnold of Boonville, Missouri; and a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss her.
