Claire Stevens

Claire Marie Stevens, daughter of the late William and Laura (Beauchane) DeGrenia, was born July 10, 1931, in Attleboro, Massachusetts, and passed from this life August 26, 2021, at her home in Mansfield, Missouri. She was 90 years, 1 month, and 16 days of age.

Claire was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Mansfield. She lived a full life and loved to sing and play the piano even at 90 years old. She also loved to go see the shows in Branson with Nancy and her husband, Les.

Besides her parents, Claire was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Stevens, and five siblings.

She is survived by one son, Robert W. Stevens and wife, Nina, of Mansfield, Missouri, three daughters, Teresa Schmelfening and husband, Jim, of Vermillion, South Dakota, Nancy Stevens and husband, Les, and Joanne Neville and Kevin, of Mansfield, Missouri, nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
