Catherine Sue (Stephenson) Riley

October 14, 1946 — May 5, 2014

Catherine Sue Riley, daughter of the late Walter and Freda (Rippee) Stephenson, was born on October 14, 1946 in Downey, California and passed away on May 5, 2014 in the Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. She was 67 years, 6 months, and 21 days of age.
At the age of five, Catherine moved with her family to the Mtn. Grove, Missouri area. She grew up and attended school in Norwood and graduated from Norwood High School in 1964. She was married to David Tuders for twenty-three years and they resided in Wichita, Kansas. Two children were born to this union.
On May 13, 1999, Catherine was united in marriage to Anthony Riley in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. She enjoyed helping Anthony in his carpet laying business for twenty-five years.
At the time of her passing, she and Anthony were living in the Linn Creek area.
Catherine enjoyed spending time with her family, music, working, nature and being outdoors. She had a great outgoing personality and she loved those around her and enjoyed visiting with her many friends. She also looked forward to decorating her home for all of the holidays each year.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Catherine is survived by her husband: Anthony Riley of their home; her son: Mike Tuders of Cabool, Missouri; her daughter: Peggy Walker of Linn Creek, Missouri; Two brothers: Duane Stephenson of Springfield, Missouri and Jack Stephenson of Cabool, Missouri; ten grandchildren: Erica Bowman, Matthew Mason, Denver Mason, Seth Mason, Hailey Mason, Arianna Mason, Dusty Walker, Antonia Walker, Kyle Tuders, and Eva Tuders; four great-grandchildren: Kyleah Bowman, Aribella Bowman, Gabriel Tudors, and Zacheriah Bowman; and other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.


Visitation: No Formal Visitation Graveside Service: Friday, May 9, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Burial: Oak Grove Cemetery Memorial Contributions: Donors Choice c/o the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home.
