Carroll Dee (Rice) Dorsey

Carroll Dee Dorsey, daughter of the late William Henry and Violet Ruth (Forrester) Rice, was born on April 15, 1938 in Altoona, Pennsylvania. She departed this life on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at the home of her niece, Betty J. Mullenack and Herbert Dean Calhoun in Mtn. Grove, Missouri, following a long illness at 73 years of age.
Carroll grew up and attended school in Pennsylvania.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister: Sandra L. Gerzeski; one brother: William “Bill” Rice; and by two daughters: Violet and Vera Mae Williams.
Carroll is survived by two sons: Phillip Oberly and Gilbert Delong, residence unknown; one brother: Kevin Rice and his wife, Chere of Omaha, Nebraska; her nieces and nephews: Goldie and Richard Libby of the State of Missouri, Betty Mullanack of Mtn. Grove, Missouri, Margie Bailey of the State of New York, Mary Ellen of Omaha, Nebraska, David Rice of the State of Iowa, and Kathy of the State of Michigan; nine grandchildren: several other family members and close friends.
