Carol Joyce Tinsley

Carol Tinsley, daughter of the late Calvin and Jewell (Williams) Bennett, was born December 19, 1949, in Lebanon, Missouri, and departed this life June 29, 2018, in Springfield, Missouri. She was 68 years, 6 months, and 10 days of age.

Carol was the youngest of eight children and grew up in Competition, Missouri. She was saved and baptized at Porter Chapel Church in Laclede County at an early age. Carol was united in marriage to Bacel Leroy Tinsley on June 21, 1985. Carol and Bacel had no children but she greatly enjoyed spending time with her many relatives and friends. She also loved working with her flowers.

Besides her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Bacel, on February 1, 2006; three brothers, Vencey Ball, Stanley Bennett, and Larry Bennett; three sisters, Betty Griffin, Delores Bates, and Annetta Griffin.

She is survived by one brother, Russell Bennett, and one brother-in-law, Dale Griffin, both of Lebanon, Missouri; two sisters-in-law, Judy Bennett of Clinton, Illinois, and Janet Bennett of Bellflower, Illinois; ten nieces, eight nephews, and many great nieces and nephews who all love her and will miss her greatly.
