Byril Hazel Tinsley

Byril Hazel Tinsley, daughter of the late Howard and Hazel (Taylor) Paddock, was born on July 9, 1937 in Minot, North Dakota, and departed this life on October 27, 2007 in the Cox Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri, following a long illness. She was 70 years, 3 months, and 18 days of age.
Byril was raised in North Dakota and graduated from Minot High School in 1956. She was united in marriage to Cecil Tinsley on June 22, 1956 in Minot. Three children were born to this union. They moved to the Mtn. grove area in 1958.
Byril was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mtn. Grove where she enjoyed working in the children’s department for over twenty years. She also enjoyed being outdoors tending to her garden and hiking. She loved taking care of others and spending time with her family. She liked canning, baking, bread making, and playing solitaire.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Byril is survived by her husband of fifty-one years: Cecil Tinsley of their home; one son: Howard Tinsley and his wife, Venessa, of Mtn. Grove; two daughters: Debbie Stinnett and her husband, Michael, of Knoxville, Tennessee and Elizabeth Snyder and her husband, James, of Smithville, Missouri; one sister: Harriett Anderson of Newark, California; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.


Funeral Services: Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at 2:00 PM in the First Baptist Church, Mountain Grove.
Visitiation: Tuesday, October 30, 2007 from 7:00 - 8:00 PM at the Craig-Hurtt Chapel.
Burial: Green Mountain Cemetery
