Bradley Don Hicks

December 30, 1964 — May 7, 2010

Bradley Don Hicks, son of Donald Lee Hicks and Carolyn Sue (Hines) Hicks Estes, was born on December 30, 1964 in Houston, Missouri and passed away on May 8, 2010 in Norwood, Missouri at 45 years of age.
Brad grew up in Mtn. Grove and attended Mtn. Grove Schools. He lived in the Mtn. Grove and Norwood areas for most of his life. As a child, Brad loved to go to the lake with his dad and go waterskiing. He always had a love for the water and the outdoors.
In the summer, you would surely find him camped out on the banks of Bryant Creek or at the Monastery in Douglas County, either floating or just hanging out with his brother, Brian and his friends. Brad also had a love for long walks, so much that you may not see him for months as he had struck out on one of his many journeys in life. He was a fun loving free spirit who loved animals. As a young boy he loved to ride horses and had a special place in his heart for dogs.
He was preceded in death by his father: Donald Lee Hicks; and by a grandmother: Mildred Devault.
He is survived by his mother and step-father: Carolyn and Alan Estes of Marshfield, Missouri; his brother: Brian Hicks of skyline, Missouri; two sisters: Kimberly Robertson and her husband, Justin , of Norwood, Missouri, and Karen Dugger of Marshfield, Missouri; his grandmother: Lou Taulbee of Licking, Missouri; niece and nephew: Shelbie and Riley Robertson of Norwood, Missouri; nephews and niece: Koby, Landon, and Sadie Dugger of Marshfield, Missouri; his childhood friend: Kevin Coffman, who grew up with him and remained his best friend throughout his life; several aunts; uncles; cousins; and many friends who will miss him dearly.

“Big B”, as his brother always called him, you will always be in our hearts and our memories.”
