Bill Jackson

March 1, 1941 — January 5, 2023

Bill Jackson, son of the late Hugh Ecton and Winnie (Stubbs) Jackson, was born March 1, 1941, in Siloam Springs, Missouri, and passed away January 5, 2023, at Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston, Missouri, at 81 years of age.

Bill grew up and went to school until the 8th grade in Siloam Springs. He started driving over the road at age seventeen and put in hundreds of miles, working for over fifty years.

He met the love of his life, Audra Crisp, in 1983 but it took him over six years to convince her to marry him. On December 7, 1990, they wed in Mountain Grove and had just celebrated their 32nd anniversary. Together they had ten children.

Bill was a very kind, soft spoken man of few words. He greatly treasured the times his kids and grandkids came to visit. In his spare time, gardening was his passion and he was often seen spending time in his garden and yard.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings, Virgil, Jim, Houston, Goldie, and Margaret.

He is survived by his wife, Audra, of their home, one brother, Bobby Jackson of West Plains, Missouri, their ten children, Kathy Miller (Sam) of Cabool, Missouri, Nancy Jackson-Bean of Mountain Grove, Missouri, Louise Vagenas of West Plains, Missouri, Sherman Jackson of West Plains, Missouri, Dwayne Delcour (Sue) of Mansfield, Missouri, Danny Delcour (Glenda) of Houston, Missouri, Regina Roy (Ed) and Randy Delcour (Cindy) all of Mountain Grove, Missouri, Dianna Baker (Ralph) of Lynchburg, Missouri, and Robert Delcour of Mountain Grove, Missouri, nineteen grandchildren, Nikki, Jon, Kasandra, Anneliese, Amanda, Tamara, Vanessa, Michael, Sarah, Bethany, Jason, Jamie, Candi, Dustin, Aaron, Bethany, Brandi, Amber, Jon, and Noah, thirty-six great-grandchildren, and one expected in June.

Bill we be greatly missed by his family and the multitude of friends that he gained over the years.
