Beulah Irene Dake, daughter of the late Sherman and Zadie (Light) Jones, was born on January 22, 1920 in Norwood, Missouri and departed this life on Sunday, March 29, 2009 at her residence near Mtn. Grove, Missouri, at 89 years of age.
Beulah grew up in Norwood and attended the Kelley School. She was united in marriage to Neulin Chester Dake on December 19, 1935 in Mansfield, Missouri. Two children were born to this union. They made their home in Tulare, California and returned back to the farm near Norwood in 1942.
Beulah was employed by Brown Shoe Company in Mtn. Grove for thirty-seven years.
She was a longtime member of the Cornerstone Freewill Baptist Church near Mtn. Grove. She enjoyed attending services and visiting with her many friends.
She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Beulah enjoyed quilting, rug making, and spending time with her family and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Neulin Dake on April 6, 1999; one brother: Jay Jones; and by one sister: Shirley Craig.
She is survived by two sons: Jack Dake and his wife, Mary, of Norwood, Missouri, and Owen Dake of Muskego, Wisconsin; one sister: Sue Fesperman of Republic, Missouri; four grandchildren: Mark Dake and his wife, Kim, Rick Dake, Tami McCullough and her husband, Ed, and Tony Dake; nine great-grandchildren: Jason and Crystal Dake, Merritt Dake and his fiancé, Lauren Kennedy; Emily Dake, Miles Dake, A.K. (Anne Katherine) Dake, Evan Dake, Alex Dake, Elizabeth McCullough and Samantha McCullough; several nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Cornerstone Freewill Baptist Church, Mtn. Grove.
No Formal Visitation:
Friends may sign the register book at their conveniece after 10:00 AM on Tuesday in the funeral home.
