Barbara Voorheis

 Barbara Esther Voorheis, daughter of Clair Pershall and Esther (Brown) Pershall, was born July 16, 1934, in Parma, Idaho, and departed this life February 19, 2025, in her home south of Mansfield, Missouri, at the age of 90 years, 7 months, and 3 days.

 She was united in marriage to Erwin Ray Voorheis and to this union eight children were born.

 She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Erwin; two daughters, Ileen and Ellen; several brothers and sisters.

 Barbara is survived by two sons, Richard Voorheis of Ridgecrest, California, and Silan Voorheis of Mansfield, Missouri; four daughters, Sharon Grace of Mansfield, Missouri, Beverly Koontz of Alma, Washington, Nancy Voorheis of Rosebud, Oregon, and Charlotta Taylor of Colorado Springs, Colorado; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Charlotte; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 Barbara was born in Idaho, married Erwin in Flint, Michigan, and moved to Mansfield, Missouri, in 1960. She worked at Ken Ballew Hatchery for many years and did poultry work at the South Range Ranch until the age of 80.

 Barbara made a profession of faith in Christ at an early age and lived her life for the Lord.

 In her spare time, she loved doing crafts, especially artificial flowers.

 Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her long life and will cherish the special times we had together.
