Barbara Lee Lehmann, daughter of the late Marl Victor Kilgore and Ruby Zell (Parmenter) Kilgore, was born September 28, 1936, in Salmon, Idaho, and departed this life, September 10, 2023, in her home south of Mansfield, Missouri, at the age of 86 years, 11 months, and 12 days.
She was united in marriage to Parley Rawlings and to this union seven children were born. She married Jonathan Lehmann on December 18, 1976, and to this union a son was born.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Kala, two brothers, Barton Kilgore and his wife, Wyona, and Nathan Kilgore and his wife, Berna, three sisters, Garnet Spear, Helen Kilgore, and Zella Kilgore, and a nephew, Parnell Kilgore.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Jonathan of the home, three sons, Klennon Rawlings of Mansfield, Delan “Curly” Rawlings and wife Janice, of Ava, and Trenla Lehmann and wife, Mandy of Bradleyville, four daughters, Joyce Lehmann and husband, David of Mansfield, Helen Harris and husband, Joseph, of Cashion, Oklahoma, Vnda Williams of Mansfield, and Krlin Kekaha, and husband, Sam, of Harrison, Arkansas, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Barbara moved from Idaho to property south of Mansfield with her parents and siblings in 1957, where they started the South Range Ranch. She was a homemaker and volunteered at Ava Schools in the Follow Through Program.
She was always busy with her hands. When she was young, she worked in the timber with Barton and her other brothers and learned to sew at a young age. Barbara liked crocheting rugs, quilting quilts, had quite the green thumb with her garden and flowers, enjoyed playing the guitar and harmonica at the same time, and was an excellent organizer. She had a lot of fun giving rides to the kids on her golf cart and riding it all around the ranch.
Barbara loved ALL children, and her family dearly. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her long life and have lots of memories of our times together that we will always cherish.
