Barbara Collins

September 21, 1930 — October 16, 2024

Lake Havasu City, AZ

Barbara Lark Collins, daughter of the late Ivan and Pearl Lark, was born September 21, 1930, and passed away October 16, 2024. After celebrating her 94th birthday with family and friends, Barbara slipped away peacefully into the loving arms of her husband of 63 years, Joe Collins, an infant daughter, Brenda, as well as her parents and brothers, Clay and Blaine.

Barbara was raised in the Norwood area. In the early 60’s, Barbara and Joe moved their young family to Southern California. After working and raising their family, they retired to northwest Arkansas. They enjoyed country life, family, and community activities. Before moving to a restful lakeside life, they enjoyed traveling, welcoming grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and enjoying music and dancing. Barbara also enjoyed sewing, attending quilting groups, and was always up for a jigsaw puzzle.

After her husband, Joe passed away in 2010, Barbara moved to Lake Havasu, Arizona. She lived with Garnett and Susan for several years before moving into Lake View Terrace Memory Care Facility.

Those missing her but celebrating her life include children, Garnett and Susan Collins, Melba and Ron Inman, and Connie Collins; grandchildren, Jaimie Inman, Mandy and Dylan Keepper, Leslie Inman, Jeff and Daina Tipton, Steven and Sara Tipton; great-grandchildren, Emerson, Maksim, Charlotte, Ophelia, Seraphina, Mirabel, Theo Buddy, and Rudiger. Barbara loved and was loved and will be missed by her family and many friends.
