Arneata Louise (Jones) Cantrell, 96, of Seymour, Missouri, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 21, 2021. She was born on February 7, 1925, in Joplin, Missouri, daughter of Hobert Brice Jones and Greta (Davis) Jones. She was united in marriage to Robert Roy Cantrell on November 27, 1940. To this union one son, Earl Robert, was born.
Arneata was a faithful member of the numerous churches where Rev. Roy Cantrell was a pastor, and she was currently a member of Seymour First Baptist Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Cantrell, son, Earl Cantrell, brother, Eugene Hobert Jones, one sister-in-law, Velda Wright, and two brothers-in-law, John Obe Cantrell and Billy Joe Cantrell.
She is survived by one brother-in-law, L.D. Cantrell (Mary) of Monett, Missouri. She is also survived by her special family – Jay and Linda Acock of Russellville, Missouri, grandsons, Michael Jay (Jill) of Columbia, Missouri, Sean Robert (Lori) of Lohman, Missouri, and Seth Daniel (Anna) of Waterloo, Illinois, nine great-grandchildren, Dakota, Jordan, Colton, Emily, Alexia, Simmone, Brooklyn, Mila, and Liam, nephews, nieces, and many friends.
The family would like to thank Integrity Healthcare, Glenwood Healthcare, and the many friends who supported and cared for her during the final months of her life.
