Anthony 'Tony' Dominic Campagna Iii

September 16, 1943 — January 9, 2012

Anthony "Tony" Dominic Campagna III, son of the late Anthony Dominic Campagna Jr. and Doris Pauline (Absher) Campagna, was born September 16, 1943 in San Jose, California and passed away peacefully at his home near Mtn. Grove, Missouri following a short illness. His sister Connie Hamrah, and long time family friend Gayle Schudy were at his side along with Three Rivers Hospice nurses at his passing. He was 68 years of age.
Tony served his country in the United States National Guard in California during the 1960's.

Upon retirement in 1994, Tony moved to the Mtn. Grove area from San Jose and he made many new friends. His retirement here allowed him to enjoy his beef farm along with the peace and beauty of the area. His mother grew up in the Mountain Grove area where the Absher family resided for many years.

Besides his parents, Tony was preceded in death by his son: Anthony Campagna IV.

He is survived by his daughter: Staci Johnston of Las Vegas, Nevada; five granddaughters; his sister: Connie Hamrah of Los Gatos, California; and two nephews: Christian and Philip Janich, both of San Jose, California.

Anthony’s final resting place will be in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery, San Jose, California in the family mausoleum. A special thank you to the Three Rivers Hospice team for their care, work, and kindness.
