Anne Osman

Anne Marie Osman, daughter of the late Robert and Mary Osman, was born June 25, 1948, in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She departed this life on January 22, 2025, in Houston, Missouri, at the age of 76.

Anne graduated from Lincoln University with a Bachelor Degree in education. She taught in several state schools in Missouri before retiring from the Mountain Grove State School after over 30 years of service. She touched countless lives of children throughout her career.

Anne enjoyed crocheting, reading, and collecting dragons. She was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. She also enjoyed watching television, especially if it involved the BBC channel or sci-fi such as Star Wars or Star Trek. The thing that brought her the most joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a wonderful and amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

Besides her parents, Anne was preceded in death by one son, Robert Nathan “Bobby” Smith, Jr.; two brothers, Bill and Joe Osman; and one sister, Margaret Osman.

Anne is survived by two children, Tracy Smith and Christina Smith; seven grandchildren, Desiree` Daniels, Jessica Hicks, Richard Smith, Levi Wood, Chance Wood, Zacary Smith, and Isaac Smith; twenty great-grandchildren; two brothers, John and Robert Osman; five sisters, Cecilia, Terri, Rose, Rita, and Jane Osman; and many other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
