Ann Louise Palmer

Anna Louise Palmer, daughter of the late Donald and Kathryn (Barton) Kuster, was born on August 31, 1945 in Lebanon, Missouri and departed this life on October 1, 2011 at her home in Mtn. Grove, Missouri, surrounded by her family. She was 66 years, 1 month and 1 day of age.
Anna grew up and attended school in Mtn. Grove and graduated from Mtn. Grove High School in 1963.
She was employed at the Mtn. Grove Head Start for thirty-seven years as a cook. “Miss Ann,” as she was known to her Head Start Family, touched the lives of hundreds of children during her time of service.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her. In her spare time, she enjoyed doing genealogy, crafts of all kinds, and reading.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son: Curtis Dean Palmer; and by one brother: Roy Kuster.
She is survived by four daughters: Janet Stewart and her companion, Lane Phelps, of Pleasant Hope, Missouri, Trish Turner of Lebanon, Missouri, Rebecca “Becky” Lipasek and her husband, Michael, of Highlandville, Missouri, and Jacqueline “Jackie” Baker and her husband, Brad, of Cabool, Missouri; nine grandchildren: Christy, Kinsey, Derek, Rachael, Payton, Dailynn, Kyleigh, Eric and Kellyn; two great-grandchildren: Teona and Evan; a special love in her life: Sonny Dobson, along with his children and grandchildren, of Mtn. Grove; four brothers: Paul Kuster, Lee Kuster, Gary Kuster, and Donald Kuster, all of Mtn. Grove; four sisters: Helen Moore and Kathy Walker of Mtn. Grove, Ruth Storey of Weatherford, Oklahoma, and Linda Reed of Norwood, Missouri; several nieces; nephews; great-nieces; and great-nephews; and other relatives and friends.
