Amy Collins

Amy B. Collins was born May 31, 1943, and departed this life January 15, 2025, at her home in Springfield, Missouri, at 81 years of age.

Amy was united in marriage to Lee Collins on February 10, 1969. She spent most of her life in the Mountain Grove and Springfield, Missouri, areas. She was the head of the jewelry department at Venture and later at K-Mart. Lee and Amy enjoyed traveling together before Lee passed away in 2004. 

Amy has collected many different types of figurines over the years, and she has amassed very extensive collections. One of her favorite collections was Precious Moments. Amy enjoyed spending time with her friends, and shopping was one of their favorite activities to do together. Amy loved her family deeply and she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. 

Amy was preceded in death by her husband, Lee R. Collins, and by her friend, Jerry.

She is survived by her son, Micah Collins, two grandchildren, Landon Collins and Lauren Collins, four brothers, Ray Richards, Cecil Richards, Michael Richards, and Harold Richards, one sister, Carol Cox, and many friends and extended family who will miss her.
