Alfred Byerley

Alfred Lee Byerley, son of the late Casper and Eunice (Sartor) Byerley, was born August 10, 1950, in Rock Island, Illinois, and passed away June 9, 2023, in Cabool, Missouri, at 72 years of age.

Alfred was raised in the Mountain Grove area and graduated from Mountain Grove High School with the class of 1973. Alfred had three sons, Sonny, Brian, and Daniel. He worked in dairy farms his entire life but in his spare time, he enjoyed wood working, working on vehicles, playing scratch off lottery tickets, and visiting with his family and friends.

Besides his parents, Alfred was preceded in death by one brother, Frank Keehner, and by one sister, Debbie Mayfield.

He is survived by three sons, Sonny Byerley (Mikaela) of Mountain Grove, Missouri, Brian Byerley (Amy) of Berryville, Arkansas, and Daniel Byerley of Ava, Missouri, four brothers, David Byerley of Norwood, Missouri, Charles Byerley (Marilyn) of Vanzant, Missouri, Richard Keehner (Teresa), and Robert Keehner (Angie) all of Mountain Grove, Missouri, two sisters, Ruth Kelley of Norwood, Missouri, and Shirley Johnson of Mountain Grove, Missouri, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
