Al Norwood

Jerry Albert Norwood, son of the late Jerry Wayne and Connie (Cochran) Norwood, was born August 22, 1963, in Garden Grove, California. He departed this life on January 29, 2025, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 61.

 Al grew up in California and later moved to Missouri. He worked for several years at Dura-Line Corp in Mountain Grove. He enjoyed spending time outdoors shooting guns and hunting. He also enjoyed training in karate and had achieved the black belt level. His greatest joy in life was time spent with his children and grandchildren.

 Besides his parents, Al was preceded in death by one brother, Matt Norwood.

 Al is survived by one son, Austin Norwood; two daughters, Alyssa Bell and husband, Devin, and Ariana Wates and husband, Savage; two grandchildren, Jamyson Norwood and Harker Bell; one sister, Stacey Shaughnessy and husband, Patrick; and many other relatives and friends who will miss him greatly.

Cremation was under the direction of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home.
